5 February 2025:
Online Level 1 at The Writers Studio
FILLING FAST!

I'm teaching an online fiction and poetry class through The Writers Studio starting February 5th. The approach at TWS is craft-focused, helping students become better writers and readers.

Feedback is provided EVERY WEEK during the 8-week term (as opposed to the 2 or so times many workshops offer), and there's a focus on learning to give meaningful, constructive critiques (which is one of the secrets to becoming a better writer and reader).

Here are the details:

  • Begins Wednesday, 2/5/25

  • Live weekly video meetings every Wednesday at 6pm PT/ 9pm ET

  • Interactive online classroom discussion and feedback

  • Runs for 8 weeks

Register on the TWS website. Please message me with any questions about my class or TWS method in general.

Every story has a start, but some beginnings carry magic that draws us in.

**All community members** are invited to share a poem or prose excerpt (up to two minutes) on ANY SUBJECT. You can share your original work or someone else's piece that you love.
