I know it's only been a short while, but not knowing how long we'll all be cooped up at home is hard. And when you're used to interacting with others daily - even if it's just to smile at your barista - being self-quarantined or following the shelter-at-home guidelines can leave you feeling socially disconnected.
That's why I'm doing something new and offering a FREE one-hour version of my popular Lunch Hour Language Artists workshop THIS FRIDAY at noon. I'll host the workshop through a new group I created on Facebook.
You can join the group here. Read details about the workshop below. This is a new group, so please share and invite anyone you think may be interested!
Starting tomorrow, I'll also be posting creativity prompts in the group and on my blog to help us feel more connected during these strange times. I encourage you to post what comes from the prompts in the group and comment on other people's work!
PANDEMIC POEMS
Beat social disconnect and join me in my first ever VIRTUAL Lunch Hour Language Artists workshop this upcoming Friday (3/20) at 12:00 PM. With all the emotions and instability facing us during the COVID-19 pandemic, it's easy for even the most balanced of us to feel a little off-kilter. We'll tackle our feelings head-on and create pandemic poems together in this one-hour workshop. Have a notebook and pen or pencil handy and be ready to write!
